The Talker's school is closed today for some reason or another. Teacher conference day, I think.
Anyways, we are off for lots of fun and frolic. Here's hoping the good weather holds out.

If I'm ever the big education person in our state's government, I'm going to move all non-holiday school closings to the middle of the week.
That way, parents don't have to entertain the kids for three days straight in conjunction with a weekend. A day in the middle of the week is MUCH easier!
Dude...my kids are at school today but will be off tomorrow! Totally messes up my week.
