Fine, I give in...

OK, KB, I give up. I set up a MySpace site tonight. On first glance, I don't get it. Why does everybody love this site? Seems really slow to load on my machine and several features just never loaded at all. Is it Firefox friendly? Dunno.

Maybe it'll grow on me, or I might just get bored and forget about the whole thing in a week. We'll see...

You want to see for yourself? AtHomeDaddy on MySpace.

It's a little disheartening to go to this page and see that AtHomeDaddy has 0 friends. I thought you were more outgoing than that!!

[I'm glad that you're trying this. I've wondered about it, but don't get it either.]

I didn't make you join the 1 O'clock club at UNT either...I'm glad you did though! Yes, it's slow and loads so slow, but it's free! Free is what it is all about! So, I'm glad you took the plunge and became a myspace junkie! Talk to you soon,
P.S. Can I be your friend?

I have a MySpace account too, at the urging of others (most of whom are now gone from MySpace). It is NOT a Blog in a normal adult blogger/livejournal/MT kind of way, it is more like the Personal Web Pages (Think GeoCities, AngelFire) back in the early days of WWW popularity. It is sort of like the 21st century version of sticking posters and such on your dorm-room door.

Thanks for the perspective.

BTW, I nearly got kicked out of the dorm, because my poster took up the entire wall between a couple of rooms in the hallway.

They claimed fire hazard, I claimed free speech and art.

They won.

I moved.

By the way, KB, you stupid bitch, It was the 1 O'Clock DRINKING Club.

If we hadn't been drinking at 1 in the afternoon, we could have been hanging out in Procrastination Corner.

Probably good the club only lasted for a few meetings.

I know that it was "The 1 O'clock Drinking Club" and that we met at 1:00PM in the afternoon. I didn't want just anyone to know that we had fun in college...they might have wanted to like hang out with us. I couldn't have handle the pressure of that. People in a dorm wanting to hang out with me. By the way that was a "Giant" wall poster too!
KB aka "That's Bitch to ya"
