This winter break from reality is now over.
Back to work, slackers!

The Boss Lady headed back to the office this morning. That rude awakening was softened a little bit by the fact that the kids both slept almost 11 hours straight. A feat they never even attempted during the last two weeks.

So the kids and I are in an awkward time of year that occurs after New Year's and summer break. They go from having mommy around all the time and daddy out piddling around in the garage, or occasionally at work. It will take us a few days to get back into our rhythm.

Luckily for all of us, it is cold and rainy outside, so we will be looking for inside fun this morning. Now we have to decide if we are off to the Children's Museum or to the YMCA. Either one is more fun than sitting at home all day.

And a lot more fun than going to work.

Have a great day with what ever you decide to fill it with. I'm still taking down decorations and just picked my little one up from preschool.

Cya!

I think I "met" 'boss lady'. I'll have to check out her blog as well. Have a great day!

Hey, if she has a blog, she ain't telling me.

And if she has time to blog, then she should be home doing some dishes or scrubbing the floors.

I can say these things because The Boss Lady is back at work and she won't have time to read comments until July.

That and I like to keep myself in trouble...

Totally my mistake then. LOL. I guess there are overly used terms for our sig others like I use hubby and so do others. She had Athomedad on her blog and perhaps it was just an overly used term.

Sorry for the confusion. LOL. (or did I spill the beans?)

The blog is on your list "The Grass is Greener" and I just presumed. It's a good thing I didn't ASSume. LOL.

Have a good one, Mike.

Wow, you really like to live on the edge. Death wish, anyone? I'll stayed tuned to CNN in July in case there's any large explosions down south...

Nope, not my wife. I would not last a day married to a lawyer.

My head would explode if I were in the room with someone who enjoyed arguing more betterer than me.

That's how we keep it exciting down here in Texas. Keep the wife ready to slice you up and hide the parts under the playscape...

That'll keep life iinteresting for sure.

PS I love you, Honey Bunny.

PSS Not you LID. I won't call you Honey Bunny unless you come paint my living room.

Hey, I thought the living room was done...we all saw the pics. Has there been a change of mind/color that we don't know about? Fess up, snookums! And yes, 1 car, you can read back posts, the Mommy had an accident the Friday before Christmas -- almost done being repaired though. I think its a plot to keep me in my place...

Just a few creative angles for the photography. Only half done. I did get a little more done this morning while the kids played.
