Ranchero Sighting

I saw the 1957 Ranchero again tonight. It is no longer for sale. I guess the guy who collects 1950's and 60's bicycles and Ford Mustangs wanted a nice new ride.

Too bad for me. Unless of course he gets bored with one of his Mustangs. He has a nice white 1969 convertible that would look good parked in my driveway. It would be useful, too. Because if I needed to haul something big, I could just drop the top and haul away!

Personally, I’ve always dreamed of a 71 Mustang Mach 1. I could tell my wife it would help me get the kids to school quicker.

My parent's neighbors still have their "high-school' cars. His is a 71 Mach 1. Bad ride! Hers is a 68 Chevelle. REALLY Bad Ride.

She sold The Chevelle a few years ago. I was really sad. Evidently so was she, because she bought it back about six months later!

Gives me a good reason to go see the parents.

I totaled my Comet. What a sweet ride. Want to see a picture?

Yeah, that was a nice ride. Sorry I was not there to see it go on it's last orbit around Burleson. I'll always have the memories of peeking through the fence of the wrecking yard, after that, though.
